Athletics Canada’s Back on Track Task Force held its first virtual meeting today to help guide a safe and healthy return to the sport of athletics in communities across Canada, and at our national team training hubs in Victoria, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario.
As public health guidelines vary from community to community, Back on Track will provide a national guiding document which can be modified to apply province by province and city by city as programming is allowed to return per the provincial and local regulations.
The Task Force will be holding its second meeting Friday May 22 with the expectation of publishing national Back on Track guidelines by the end of next week.
