Athletics competition at the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games starts today, and things get serious in a hurry with a number of Canadian athletes in finals.
The 2015 Parapan Am Games serve as an important stepping stone as Canada gets set to compete this fall at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) World Athletics Championships (October 22-31, Doha, Qatar), and then next year at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The team won 16 medals at the last edition of the Parapan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2011.

Para-Athletics Eastern Development Camp
