BioSteel Sports Nutrition and Athletics Canada sign Partnership Agreement

Toronto, ON, March 1, 2017 - Leading sports nutrition company, BioSteel Sports Nutrition Inc. (@BioSteelSports), announced today that they will be partnering with Athletics Canada as the exclusive and official Sports Nutrition product, isotonic sport drink and energy drink partner.

“BioSteel’s partnership strategy is built on authentic relationships with athletes, companies and organizations that embody our philosophy of superior sports nutrition for all,” said Anthony Mila, VP Marketing and Chief Creative Officer, BioSteel Sports Nutrition Inc. “Athletics Canada is a top organization with top Olympic athletes. Providing these athletes with access to the highest quality drug tested products is great for the athletes, the brand, and the growth of sport in Canada.”

The partnership agreement includes a monthly product pack for the BioSteel Athlete of the Month, and includes naming rights to Athletics Canada’s East High Performance Hub in Toronto.

“We are thrilled to have BioSteel on board,” said Rob Guy, Chief Executive Officer. “They have a strong track record of providing safe for sport first rate nutritional solutions to some of the top athletes in the world.” Guy adds, “From hockey’s Connor McDavid, to baseball’s Marcus Stroman, to basketball’s Andrew Wiggins, and football’s Ezekiel Elliott, BioSteel is on the leading edge of athlete nutritional support; we’re happy to have them on board towards Tokyo 2020.”

BioSteel originally built its brand strength providing professional hockey players with nutritional products that evolved into the creation of the annual BioSteel Pro Hockey Camp. In recent years this has expanded to include a variety of sports disciplines and sponsorships agreements, including the official sports nutrition product of the Toronto Raptors, the creation of the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game and endorsement deals with a diverse cross section of athletes.
