Rio 2016 Paralympic champion Brent Lakatos of Dorval, Que., has been named May’s Athletics Canada Biosteel Athlete of the Month after four record breaking performances.
During the month of May, Lakatos set four new world standards in the T53 100-metres (14.15, 14.10), 200-metres (25.05) and 800-metres (1:31.91). He also broke the T53 1500-metre record on June 3 (2:51.84).
