On April 7, 2016 the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced a four-year sanction against Paralympic sprinter Earle Connor as a result of anti-doping violations. The adverse analytical findings occurred during out of competition testing April 15, 2015 and on May 28, 2015.

The CCES, through an ongoing investigation with Earle Connor, has uncovered, through Mr. Connor’s own admission, that he had been using prohibited substances dating back to May 2012.

As such Athletics Canada is taking the immediate action of removing all of Mr. Connor’s performances from the national rankings dating back to May 1, 2012. This includes stripping him of national titles in the ambulatory 100-metres at the 2012 (Calgary) and 2013 (Moncton) Canadian Track and Field Championships.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has also stripped all of his results from IPC sanctioned events dating back to May 1, 2012, including Mr. Connor’s results at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, England and the 2013 IPC World Championships.
