The Canadian Olympic Committee announced this week a new partnership with Morneau Shepell. This partnership will see the roll-out of a corporate wellness program involving Canadian athletes as Wellness Champions.
The Morneau Shepell Wellness Champions program is seeking a number of athletes to act as Wellness champions. The program will provide athletes with valuable experience, an introduction to corporate Canada, networking, and skill development alongside a very flexible time commitment. Wellness Champions will engage with organizations/employees primarily via digital connections, such as making motivational videos and messages, sharing personal stories, social media interaction, and occasional meet & greet experiences. Selected athletes may receive $3,000 to $10,000 per client, with a minimum guaranteed compensation of $1,000.
All competing and retired Canadian Olympians are eligible for the program, as well as national team athletes who have not yet competed at Olympic Games.
