#TF6IX to feature 6 Olympic and 10 World Champions

Many of the competitions at the 2018 NACAC Championships taking place Aug. 10-12 at Toronto’s Varsity Stadium will mirror what fans will come to see at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. This holds especially true in the sprints, relays and women’s pole vault.

The teams from 28 different countries include reigning individual event Olympic champions Elaine Thompson of Jamaica (100m, 200m) and Jeff Henderson (long jump) from the United States, while American Phyllis Francis is the 2017 World Champion in the 400-metres. The competition will also see 100-metre hurdle World recordholder Kendra Harrison of the United States in action.

The relays will feature members from the reigning Olympic 4x100-metre team from Jamaica, and members of the champion 4x400-metre team from the United States. The fields also include members of the gold medal men’s 4x400-metre World Championship team from Trinidad and Tobago, and of the champion women’s 4x400-metre team from the United States.

Throws fans are also in for a treat with Jamaica’s O’Dayne Richards (2015 World shot put bronze medallist), Trinidad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcott (2012 Olympic champion and 2016 Olympic bronze medallist in the javelin) and Mason Finley of the United States (bronze at the 2017 World Championships) amongst others. Temporary seating has been brought in for the throws events, any individual single-day ticket will give fans access to the throws area.

Tickets start as low as $20.
