Tickets on sale now for Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix

Early-bird pricing in effect until Dec. 31, 2017

Ottawa – Athletics Canada announced today that tickets for Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix are on sale now via www.athletics.ca/toronto2018. Taking place Aug. 10-12 at Varsity Stadium, the three-day event will showcase Canada’s top track and field stars, as well as athletes from across North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Replicating the atmosphere from the 2015 Pan American Games, Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix will include live music, exciting athlete introductions, first-rate in-stadium hosting and will celebrate Toronto’s vibrant Latin American and Caribbean culture.

“When I ran at the Pan Am Games, I didn’t think I would get another opportunity to race at home in my career,” said Andre De Grasse at the official launch of Track & Field in the 6ix. “[The atmosphere] is going to be a better because of [my success in] Rio. I plan to arrive in Toronto next August in top form ready to compete.”

To ensure a positive fan experience from start-to-finish, Athletics Canada has partnered with ShowClix, an international event technology provider of ticketing, marketing and on-site operations to the live events industry, to offer a number of unique packages and to give fans the opportunity to select their seats in Varsity Stadium.

By purchasing a Silver Championships Pass, fans will have access to all events at Varsity Stadium at a discounted rate and reserved seating in their preferred section. By upgrading to a Gold Championships Pass, fans will also receive a commemorative seat cushion and access to athlete photo/signing sessions throughout the weekend.

Single-day tickets for Toronto 2018: Track & Field in the 6ix start as low as $30 per day making it an affordable outing for families in the Greater Toronto Area and from across Canada. Track and field enthusiasts can also purchase a Diamond singlet-day ticket that includes a trackside deck seat – the best seats in the house – and access to an exclusive photo/signing session with Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse.

Early-bird pricing will be in effect in select seat locations until 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 31, giving fans the opportunity to purchase the best seats (Gold single-day and Championships Passes) at a discounted rate.
