Athletics Canada Introduces Quebec High Performance Hub: CNAM

Athletics Canada is pleased to announce the next stage of its latest High Performance (HP) Hub in Quebec, which will be known locally as the “Centre national d'athlétisme – Montréal” or more simply “CNAM”.

CNAM will be the focal point of AC’s High Performance program in the province of Quebec and will provide facilities and services for CAPP (Canadian Athlete Performance Pathway) athletes.  In the mid-term, CNAM will be based at Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard (CSCR) in Montreal, and will also use facilities at McGill University and the Institut national du Sport du Québec (INSQ).  In the long term, the plan is to have a fully integrated base at INSQ including an indoor athletics track integrated with the centre’s world class training facilities and treatment spaces providing sports science, sports medicine and innovation services, comparable to the best practices in the world.
