Athletics Canada is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Talent Development Camp from Oct. 27 to Oct. 29 in Guelph, Ont., as part of the Paralympic Development Program’s recruiting initiatives.

The Talent Development Camp is targeted for athletes in the Eastern Provinces (Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes) who have yet to represent Canada on a national team, but who are training regularly and performing well on a regional or provincial level. The camp will immerse selected athletes and their personal coaches in a high-performance training atmosphere. The camp is funded for selected athletes and their personal coach.

The camp will be directed by National Team staff coaches and managed by Athletics Canada’s leadership team, providing valuable experience and instruction to participating athletes and their personal coaches.

Participants will be invited to the Talent Development Camp through a selection process. Interested parties must complete the Talent Identification Radar Form and e-mail it to Athletics Canada’s Central Canada Recruiter Adam Janssen (ajanssen@athletics.ca).
