The 2022 Canadian Indoor Track and Field Championship, which was set to take place on February 19-20, will be postponed to a later date, due to the high number of COVID-19 cases and to ongoing public health restrictions. Organizers are looking to instead hold the championship in March.

The event has not been held in full capacity since 2019 because of the pandemic.

Hosted in coordination with the Saint John Reds Track and Field Club, the Championship will take place at Irving Oil Field House in Saint John, N.B.
