Athletics Canada is pleased to announce the return of the Canadian Indoor Championships March 26-27 in Saint John, New Brunswick. The event, for U16, U18 and U20 athletes, has not been held since 2019 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 Advisory: AC Indoors & CMA Indoors
Our top priority is keeping our athletes, officials, coaches and volunteers healthy, and while New Brunswick has lifted its Mandatory Order and subsequently all restrictions in place in the province, COVID-19 still remains a threat.
All participants (athletes, coaches, volunteers and officials) at the Athletics Canada Indoor Championships and Canadian Masters Indoor Championships will be required to wear a mask (3-ply or N95 are recommended but not required) while not actively warming up or competing. This includes controlled areas of the track like the call room and the warm-up field.
Spectators in spectator seating will not be required to wear masks, but we strongly encourage you to do so, to keep participants safe during these Championships.
We are looking forward to hosting the nation on March 26th-27th in Saint John for a safe and exciting Championship weekend!
Vaccination policy
Athletics Canada has updated its policy to follow the latest public health guidelines in place in the jurisdiction hosting the organization’s events, activities, or meetings.
Effective immediately, all athletes, coaches, fans, volunteers, media and event staff and contractors on site for an Athletics Canada event or activity will be required to comply with local public health guidelines.
