IMPORTANT RACE UPDATES
Please read the following information carefully as there are important changes and updates regarding the Canadian Mountain and Trail Running Championships which may affect you.
80km ‘long course’ race
The course for the 80km ‘long course’ trail championships has been modified slightly to run two loops of the 40km course. The distance will now be approximately 81.7km. The elevation profile will be similar to the original profile. Updated race maps are set out on the Freaky Creeky 50 webpage.
U20 Classic Up & Down Mountain Race
Due to low registration numbers, the U20 classic up and down mountain running championships is being merged with the senior/open race and will be run on the same 11km course at the same time as the senior/open race.
Shuttles
Shuttle spaces are limited and shuttles must be booked in advance. To reserve a spot on the shuttle, you must email ed@scsno.ca by September 5, 2022. No exceptions.

Please encourage any athletes who have not entered the national championships to do so as soon as possible. There are only 34 spots available for all events including all nationals races and all open events at the Freaky Creeky 50. These are selling out quickly. WARNING: Once the event is sold out it will not be possible to enter the national championships. The number of spots is set by the parks and cannot be exceeded.
