Aaron Brown was the top Canadian finisher at the Brussels Diamond League on Friday, racing to third place in the 200m in a time of 20.22.
Once again running from lane 8, the defending national 200m champion solidified his standing as one of the top sprinters in the world, confirming his fitness before the Diamond League final of September 7-8. Brown trailed only Alexander Ogando of the Dominican Republic, and the eventual winner, 18-year-old phenom Erriyon Knighton of the United States.
The sprinter was one of three Canadians to compete in Brussels on Friday.
